The Sasol Art Museum, University of Stellenbosch, is hosting an exciting exhibition of invited artists - all former students of the University. The visual art's department has been active for 40 years and the exhibition aims to offer an overview of the artists and designers that the department has produced within this period. The list of more than 50 artists includes Claudette Schreuders, Peet Pienaar, Doreen Southwood, Conrad Botes (Bitterkomix), Anton Kannemeyer (Bitterkomix), Strijdom van der Merwe, Jean Brundrit, Sandra Kriel, Keith Dietrich, Sanel Aggenbach, Johann Louw, Gerda Genis, Obie Oberholzer. Victor Honey is the guest curator for the exhibition. The exhibition opened on the 19th May 2004 and will run until the 4th of August 2004.
