| Cape Town based artist Peet Pienaar, underwent circumcision as part of a performance art piece and had the whole procedure filmed. The film was then screened as part of his " I want to tell you something... " Exhibition at the Bell-Roberts Gallery at 199 Loop Street, Cape Town. This video installation is for sale for R185 000 and the buyer receives the 'foreskin' at no extra charge. | |

Seen at the opening of the Mark Chagall exhibition at the Standard Bank Gallery in
Johannesburg, was another performance artist, Steven
Cohen. Cohen, a former
recipient of FNB Vita's award for fine art, is a regular at these high
profile events. He dragged a
Kudu head, attached to his own head, with great difficulty through the
